I’m Dr. Anne “Annie” Dericks — Mother, Naturopathic Physician and Pelvic & Abdominal Therapist.
With a focus on holistic women’s health and family medicine, I specialize in treating complex pelvic conditions, hormone imbalances, autoimmune disease, gastrointestinal disorders as well as healing from abdominal and pelvic surgeries, trauma, and birth. My unique approach integrates Naturopathic Medicine, Energy Medicine, and Pelvic & Abdominal Therapy, allowing me to support and amplify health by aligning individuals and families with their natural physiological design. This alignment enables true healing, helping you thrive and create a vibrant life.
I have an unwavering trust in the body’s innate ability to heal.
When we follow nature’s design…
Healing is always available.
With deep gratitude, I reflect on my journey in medicine. I earned my Naturopathic Medical Doctorate and certificate in Natural Childbirth and Midwifery from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), where I had the opportunity to complete specialized rotations in women’s health, gynecology, cardiology, and pulmonary medicine.
Prior to this, I received my bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine from Sarah Lawrence College. I also had the privilege of studying Lāʻau lapaʻau (Hawaiian herbal medicine) with Levon Ohai and Krista Steinfeld at the University of Hawaiʻi, an experience that enriched my understanding of holistic healing.
My midwifery and pediatrics externships at A Gentle Beginning in Portland, Oregon, and Sacred Healing Arts in Honolulu, Hawaii, were life-changing. I was honored to attend births alongside both licensed and traditional midwives, which deeply expanded my capacity to support women in one of life’s most sacred experiences.
I am endlessly grateful to continue learning from extraordinary teachers, elders, and healers. I am a proud member of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute and certified in Holistic Pelvic Care™ with Tami Lynn Kent, MSPT. Additionally, I’ve studied with Lynn Shulte, PT through the Institute for Birth Healing and with Rachelle Seliga through Innate Traditions, becoming a Certified Innate Postpartum Care Practitioner.
Beyond my practice, I cherish tending to my family, including my husband, three children, and our animals—our dog, cats, sheep, and chickens—on our off-grid homestead. I find joy in speaking my truth, shifting ancestral patterns, and playing in the mountains or the sea.
