How Can Holistic Pelvic Care™ Support you?

Holistic Pelvic Care™

Using a gentle intervaginal massage technique combined with restorative breathwork tools, Dr. Anne Dericks realigns your pelvis physically and energetically. This process, for all stages of a woman’s life, enhances the flow of pelvic organ energy and restores your pelvic bowl as the creative center of your female body. Holistic Pelvic Care™ is a technique used to support fertility, aid healing postpartum and treat pelvic concerns, from pain and urine leakage to sexual dysfunction and lack of libido. It differs from conventional physical therapy or body work in that it supports connection to the pelvis and restores balance in the pelvis on a physical, emotional and energetic level. Holistic Pelvic Care™ supports connection to the body while bringing greater awareness and attention to the Root Chakra. In this way, Holistic Pelvic Care™ is used for women of all ages as part of preventative medicine, in the treatment of physical symptoms or to simply bring a woman a greater sense of connection to her pelvic bowl, female organs and creative energy source.

Holistic Pelvic Care™ was developed by Tami Lynn Kent, women’s health physical therapist and author of Wild Feminine and Mothering from your Center. After working with the pelvic floor, she recognized the medicine available for each woman located right inside her very own body.
This technique involves a combination of gentle internal body work techniques and intra-vaginal assessment with breath work and visualization tools to encourage balanced muscular strength, circulation and energy flow in the pelvic bowl. The pelvic massage is gentle and respectful, following the lead of the body. Though HPC is gentle, the effects are profound and women often notice a change with even one session.
